Title: Performing Street Theatre in ELT class
This talk-workshop focuses on the educational value of performing arts in ELT class through the prism of Street theatre, examines the connection of street theatre’s theory to pedagogy, explains why performing arts are a powerful vehicle in learning process and practically suggests self-expression and interaction through experimental activities.
Efi Tzouri studied English Language and Literature in Greece. She specialised in Theatre education and production and teaches English for over 16 years. Board member of TESOL Macedonia-Thrace Association. Theatre and film lover. TEDx goer. She shares on @efitzouri.
Dimitra Christopoulou has been teaching english English for ten years. She is a freelance teacher teaching all ages and levels. She has been trained at the Hellenic American Union and has also taken courses on translation too.
