Title: Using Children's Picture Books in the ESL/EFL Classroom
For young children, picture books are seen as crucial in developing reading skills. Adults, too, have books in which pictures may well be just as important as words. This workshop examines ways in which students can be encouraged to pause and reflect, to see artwork as a pictorial narrative complement to the written text, generating real language naturally and fostering creativity.
